Brie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT*) who has always been interested in behavior, canine and human! After earning her degree in Psychology from the University of Washington she went on to work in corporate human resources doing both recruiting and employee relations work. A decade later, Brie took some time off to focus on her two boys. During that time Brie adopted her first rescue dog, Zeke. She found her calling and nothing has been the same since!
Brie is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT*), an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Approved Evaluator, and a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Brie started her career with dogs in 2006 at Homeward Pet in Woodinville where she worked for four years as an Adoption Counselor and Dog Behavior Manager. It was through her experiences with her beloved Zeke and at Homeward Pet that she realized how important an understanding of canine learning is for people to succeed with their dog.
Brie continues to learn through reading, seminars, publications and networking with other trainers. Her own household has grown to contain four dogs, two cats, her two boys and one very patient and supportive husband. |
